leadership through community voice
we need bold transformational leadership
Cesar is running for City Council in District 38 to represent Red Hook, Sunset Park, Greenwood Heights and parts of Windsor Terrace, Dyker Heights & Borough Park to create a vision for our communities and collective shared values for equity, justice, and a fair recovery.
COVID-19 has laid bare many of the structural inequalities that have long faced our communities, from weaknesses in our education system and workforce development to a lack of affordable housing and living wage jobs. Cesar will advocate vigorously in the Council, with his colleagues, and the administration to bring the much needed resources our community needs and to support our neighbors.

Working in tandem with community leaders and partners to lift up voices and ensure no one is left behind and our most vulnerable are included at the table.
Creating access & equity
Engaging with our neighbors to build access, equity, and transparency in our local government - and beyond. Increasing participation, capacity, and leadership of our community.

COVID-19 & Recovery
Our community is home to a disproportionately large number of essential workers: health care professionals, educators, delivery workers, and construction workers. Cesar will work tirelessly to ensure they get the support they need and deserve.
